The pivot gun (this one on the deck of the gun ship "Pocahontas") was one of those Captain Percival Drayton used in 1861 in the shelling of Fort Walker. The fort commanded by his own BROTHER, General Thomas F Drayton. The Draytons owned Fish Hall Plantation on Hilton Head Island which was located only a mile from the fort.
